The Rotary Room afford outside access and is a completely self-contained room ideal for groups of up to 160.

Catering Information
Catering Policies:
- Function Room: If Attendance changes, the hotel reserves the right to substitute the function room for a more suitable room.
- Guarantee: The charge for the meal function is for the guaranteed or actual number attending, whichever is greater. The guarantee minimum number can be revised no later than 72 hours prior. Should no guarantee be revised, the number of expected is charged. The hotel will prepare up to 10% over the guarantee to a maximum of 10 additional guests.
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required for all Christmas Parties and large functions on day of the booking event.
- Liabilities: The Paradise Inn/Major’s Homestyle is not responsible for personal injuries or any loss or damage to any goods, property and/or equipment brought into the hotel by the Convener.
- Service & Tax: A 17% gratuity is applied on all food & beverage, 5% GST is applied on all services.
- Room Arrangement: Rooms will be set to the specifications outlined in your signed contract.
- So.c.a.n. Fee: Society of Composers, Authors and Musicians Fees are applicable to all events that have music. The Hotel will apply the SOCAN Fee to your final bill on behalf of the society.
- Re:Sound Fee: is the Canadian not-for-profit music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for artists and record companies for their performance rights. On behalf of its members, representing thousands of artists and record companies, Re:Sound licenses recorded music for public performance, broadcast and new media. Re:Sound is also a member of the Canadian Private Copying Collective, created to receive private copying levies from the manufacturers and importers of blank audio recording media. The Hotel will apply the Re:Sound Fee to your final bill on behalf of the society.
- Miscellaneous: Open Flames are not allowed anywhere on Hotel premises.
- Menus: The Catering Department welcomes the opportunity to create personalized menus for any occasion. We look forward to ensuring you have the best party possible!
Beverage and Bar:
Alberta Liquor laws do not permit service before 10:30am (11:00 on Sunday’s and Holidays or after 2:00am). Guests must be 18 years or older to consume Alcohol and the Hotel observes the right to I.D. anyone who looks under the age of 25. The maximum number and size of drinks that may be sold or served to a patron after 1:00AM is limited to; two standard servings per order – one standard serving is one ounce per high-ball or one bottle or can of beer. Also, a patron can’t have more than two drinks in their possession after 1 a.m.
Host Bar:
This type of bar service is used when you, as the host, pay for all drinks consumed by your invited guests. Our staff will keep track of the number of drinks consumed and you will be invoiced afterwards according to the beverage consumption. Minimum bar purchases of $300.00 are required or a bartender fee of $25.00 per hour will apply.
Cash Bar:
This type of bar service is used when the guests are required to pay for their own beverages individually on a cash basis paying the bartender. For a larger event we will provide a cashier to sell drink tickets on site. Minimum bar purchases of $300.00 are required or a bartender fee of $25.00 per hour will apply.
Toonie Bar:
This type of bar service is used when the invited guests are required to pay $2.00 for each beverage individually on a cash basis paying the bartender with the additional cost per drink being invoiced to the event. Minimum bar purchases of $300.00 are required or a bartender fee of $25.00 per hour will apply.
